The health services are organized in a three-tier basis with the primary level constituting community health services, the health stations, health centers and community hospitals, while the secondary level constitutes the Zoba referral hospitals and first contact hospitals and the tertiary level with national referral hospitals.The outpatient service in Eritrea is provided in health stations, clinics, health centers and hospitals.
